Once Upon A Winter Solstice-Co-creating Family Traditions

~ It’s not always easy to step away from the norm and forge your own way to make sacred, especially when it comes to transforming holidays and family traditions. It was after the birth of my first child in 1998, that I vowed to diverge from the mainstream of commercialized holidays and set forth on the path of defining relevant rituals related to cycles and seasons. Once Upon a Winter Solstice grew out of this journey. Consider creating a new family Winter tradition to tell your children a vision that inspires an earth-based imagination and aligns with earth-based values of growth and transformation. All ages are invited to gather around the metaphoric family hearth for this call. Sit back, snuggle up, grab some hot cocoa and listen to a very special reading of Once Upon A Winter Solstice by author, Karma Cloud, and artist Serena Tearno-Brucker. Reflect and connect with the sacredness of this season. Learn and share Relevant Rituals you and your family might co-create. Bring your watercolors and paper to paint along while listening to stories & songs that celebrate the Solstice Spirit!
